Ofilia G. Barrera, 85, of Falfurrias died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in Kingsville.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1924, to Incarnacion Garza and Maria Zapata Garza in Sejita.

Survivors include her two sons, Israel (Josie) Barrera Jr. of Kingsville and Ramiro (Janie) Barrera of Falfurrias; three daughters Elva (Elijio) Navarro of Corpus Christi, Hilda (Ramiro) Rodriguez of Falfurrias, and Marivel (Gilbert) Martinez of Falfurrias; 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, many brother and sister-inlaws and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary was recited on May 25 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 26 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias

Burial will follow at the Garza-Zamora Family Cemetery in Brooks County.
