KINGSVILLE SPECIAL OLYMPICS


KINGSVILLE SPECIAL OLYMPICS — The Special Olympics Spring Games were held at Flour Bluff High School Track and Field recently. In attendance to assist the Kingsville Special Olympics Athletes were the Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office and the Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office Operation Role Model Kids. As part of the opening ceremonies, Deputy Valarie Enzenbacher assisted her assigned athlete, Nyssa Minter to hold and run the torch into the stadium and pass it on (top photo). It was an honor and privilege to participate along side such motivated athletes. All athletes did a tremendous job and the Kingsville Special Olympic Athletes took medals or ribbons home.
