Filemon V. Esquivel

Filemon V. Esquivel Filemon V. Esquivel Filemon V. Esquivel, 81, of Kingsville, died on June 12, 2010, in Corpus Christi.

He was born on Nov. 22, 1928, to Urbano Esquivel and Paula Vasquez.

He was a local businessman and a registered pharmacist for over 50 years and former owner of Angle Pharmacy.

He was a lifetime parishioner of St. Martin’s Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus, Council No. 2623 and a shareholder of Kingsville Industrial Foundation, had lifetime appointment with Kleberg County Draft Board and also a lifetime member of Texas- Exes Alumni Association.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Rosalina B. Esquivel of Kingsville; five sons, Heriberto (Dalia) Esquivel of McAllen, Ben (Angelica) Esquivel of Corpus Christi, David Eric (Michelle) Esquivel, Filemon Esquivel Jr., and Michael (Drusilla) Esquivel, all of Austin; one daughter, RoseAnn (Eric) Cardona of Kingsville; 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held June 13 at Ramirez-Salinas

ƒƒ Funeral Home.

A rosary was recited June 13 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church.

A funeral Mass was held June 14 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Isidoro Garcia OMI officiating.

Burial followed at Chamberlain Cemetery.
