15 years later, David Su walks same path as brother Francis

As H.M. King High Valedictorian David Su walked across the stage recently to receive his diploma, he became the second member of his family to be named valedictorian at H.M. King High School.
His brother Francis Edward Su, was named Valedictorian of his 1985 H.M. King High School class and, now David has followed in his footsteps.
Francis holds a PhD in math from Harvard University idea on disposal and currently works as a professor of math at Harvey Mudd College in California.
David plans on attending Harvard University in the fall to major in biomedical engineering.
He said he would decide on graduate school while in college and then see which field to purse.
David credits his mother, Lisa, for being instrumental in his study habits and instilling the value of education in
him, since education is of great importance to his family. disposal of worn His father, the late Dr. Edward Su, was a political science professor at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

Along with his brother Francis, David has a sister Deborah, also a H.M. King High graduate, and a graduate of Texas A&M University, who works in the medical field in Dallas.
David said his brother is a major source of inspiration for him.
“Although Francis is
working and is very busy, when we talk he has given worn U.S. flags me great advice throughout my high school career and has been a great role model,” David said.
He said as he walked across the stage Saturday he had a feeling a mix of emotions.
“I am sad that I am leaving H.M. King but happy that I am moving on,” he said.
“What I am most proud of is being a graduate of the Class of 2010. I have had so many diverse experiences and I will never forget this time in my life.”
