VIPERS NAMED MEMORIAL DAY BASH CHAMPS — After coming up short in the championship game and finishing second out of eight teams at a tournament in Weslaco two weeks prior, the 10U Kingsville Vipers defeated the Corpus Christi Diamond Rage in the championship game to take the Memorial Day Bash tournament in the Sparkling City during the late weekend in May. The Vipers were challenged with both the elements of an extremely hot day and a 10U Diamond Rage pitcher who throws around 50 mph. The girls battled to the end and became tournament champions with a 5-2 victory over the Rage.
