On July 10th the Elks Lodge is holding a benefit concert featuring Bobby Lawson and the Longriders with special guests Sandy Alexander, Alan Hausler and Carol Cannon of Sandy Six Pack fame along with other guest, at the Elks Lodge located at 1404 S. 6th Street from 8 p.m. until midnight with all proceeds going to a fund benefitting Charlie Goetsch.

The cost is $10 per person and the event is open to the public.

On May 22, Goetsch was helping repair the flag pole at the Elks Lodge when the pole broke at the base, causing him to fall, sustaining a serious head injury. He was taken by HALO Flight to Christus Spohn Memorial in Corpus Christi.

His medical bills are mounting daily.
