Hail and Farewell
Outgoing NAS Kingsville Commander Capt. Philip Waddingham, left, posed with incoming Commander Capt. Mark McLaughlin, right, at a farewell event Thursday at the Henrietta Memorial Center and hosted by the Navy League. The official change of command took place Friday at the NAS Club. Capt. Waddingham assumed command of NAS Kingsville in July 2007 and will now report to work for the Under Secretary of the Navy in the Office of Program Appraisal at the Pentagon. Capt. McLaughlin reports to NAS Kingsville from the staff of the Chief of Naval Air Training, where he has served as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Training for the past three years.
