Betty Lou Barnes Betty Lou Barnes, 76, of Kingsville, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010.

She was born Sept. 16, 1933, in Shawnee, Okla., to HE Schoonover and Ola Mae Lee Schoonover.

Barnes was a homemaker and a member of Retama Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, VH Barnes; three daughters, Patricia (Lou) Hollers of Crowley, Susan Barnes of Kingsville, and Valerie (Mickey) Redus of Baytown; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held June 21 at Retama Park Baptist Church in Kingsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Retama Park Baptist Church, 515 E. General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas 78363.

Turcotte-Piper Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
