HOLLYWOOD VISITOR — Actor Valente Rodriguez, also known as ‘Ernie’ on the George Lopez television sitcom, made a special visit to Bishop July 3 to meet with co-director David Garcia to discuss ideas for an upcoming film. Valente spoke to family members of the Garcia reunion held at the Bishop City Pavilion. The family film, entitled Los Scavangers, is based on the childhood memories of Bishop natives Jacob Sendejo, Adrian Garcia, and Aaron Garcia.
