Jose R. Narvaez Jose R. Narvaez, 78, of Kingsville, died July 2, 2010, in Kingsville.

He was born Sept. 11, 1931, in Kingsville, to Francisco and Rebecca Narvaez.

He was a retired teacher at West Oso ISD for over 35 years.

Survivors include two sisters, Elodia N. (Adan) Flores and Manuela Galvan, both of Kingsville; two brothers, Manuel (Francis) Narvaez of Corpus Christi, Lupe R. (Emiko) Narvaez of New Port News, Va.; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held July 4 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A rosary was recited July 4 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass was held July 5 at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Naul Ordenez officiating.

Burial followed at Chamberlain Cemetery.
