Adan G. DeLaPaz Adan “Choré” G. DeLa Paz, 82, of Kingsville died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in Corpus Christi.

He was born on June 29, 1928 in Riviera to Luciano DeLaPaz and Paula Gonzalez DeLaPaz.

He was a self-employed truck driver with DeLaPaz Trucking Company until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maria D. DeLaPaz of Kingsville; three daughters, Rosa Elia (Jesse) Leos, Norma Linda (Noe David) Charles and Cynthia DeLaPaz, all of Kingsville; brother, Mike DeLaPaz of Arizona; four sisters, Estella DeLaPaz and Julia DeLaPaz, both of Kingsville, Herlinda Gonzalez of Brownsville, and Esperanza DeLaPaz of Arizona; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Rosary was recited July 16 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel.

Funeral Mass was celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 17, St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Jose Naul as celebrant.

Burial followed in Kingsville at Resthaven Cemetery.
