Norma G. Alaniz Former Kingsville resident, Norma G. Alaniz, 77, of Laredo, died on Sunday July 18, 2010, in Laredo.

She was born on March 27, 1933 to Alfonso and Herlinda Garcia in Kingsville.

She was a retired housewife.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Daniel Alaniz of Laredo; one daughter, Dorina (Enrique) Romero of Laredo; three sons, Daniel (Sonya) Alaniz Jr. of McAllen, David Alaniz and Joe (Elsa) Alaniz both of Laredo; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held July 20 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A rosary was recited July 20 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 21 at the St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Naul Ordonez officiating.

Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
