Joe W. Hanson Joe W. Hanson, 74, former Kingsville resident, passed away July 25, 2010, in Giddings, Texas.

Hanson grew up in the Luling area and attended Lockhart High School. He spent his adult years as a wireline/ oilfield consultant in both central and south Texas.

He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Hanson and Carla Hanson, and a son, Joe Hanson, all of Abilene, Texas. Also surviving are one sister, Gladys McGee (husband, Travis) and one brother, Maurice (wife, Shirley), both of Kingsville.

Preceding him in death were his parents, five sisters and six brothers.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25 at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings, Texas.
