Brush Countr y CASA rece ives chec k fr om Ma urices — Brush Country CASA Executive Director, Seana Towler, accepted a check in the amount of $500 from Victoria Flores, manager of Maurices. Flores said that the Maurices Company firmly believes in giving back in the communities where the stores are located. Patrons of the store voted on several non-profit organizations and the winner in our area was Brush Country CASA. CASA is a volunteer organization who advocates for abused and neglected children removed from their homes. Their goal is to find a safe and permanent home for these children as quickly as possible. CASA plans to use the check to provide better services and training of the volunteers who speak out for the child victims in our community.
