See you at National Night Out in Javelina Stadium
The University Police Department at Texas A&M University Kingsville will host their first National Night Out from 6 to 10 p m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, in the parking lot of Javelina Stadium located at the corner of Armstrong and Corral Streets.
National Night Out combines free education and fun into a big night for children and their parents.
Children will receive information on Stranger Danger, how to say no and other safety tips.
There also will be fun and games for children of all ages.
Mariachi Estrella will perform at 6 p m., Ballet Folklorico starts at 7 p m. and the Johnny Kiser band will be on stage from 8 to 10 p.m.
Participating agencies include the University Police Department, Kingsville Police Department, Kleberg County Sheriff’s office, Kleberg County District Attorney’s office, Kleberg County Fire Department, the United States Border Patrol, Kingsville Task Force, NASKingsville Police Department and others.
Sponsors include the President’s Office, Macareno Signs, SpawGlass, Chief Felipe Garza, Eddie Yaklin and Marc Cisneros.
