TAMUK EXPANSION-A groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday for a new dining hall and suite-style residence hall at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. The $5.5 million, 19,000 square feet dining hall will have the capacity to feed about 378 students at one time. It is scheduled to open in the spring of 2011. The new residence hall, with room for 300 beds, will be ready for move in for the fall 2011 semester. The $18 million, 98,000 square feet dorm will also house the new Honors College offices.
