CREATIVE POETRY WINNERS
CREATIVE POETRY WINNERS — Sandy Chisholm, State President of the Federation of Women’s Clubs, presents Daniel Salinas a third grade student of Epiphany Episcopal School a certificate recognizing his first place winning in a creative poetry writing program that was sponsored by the National Federation of Woman’s Club. Daniel’s poem “The Frog, the Hog and the Dog” won first place in the local, regional and state competitions. Daniel who will be going into fourth grade at Epiphany School next year is the son of Cristina and George Dismukes. Also pictured is John David Guerrero whose poem “Hunting” won second place at the regional competition. John David is the son of Jackie and John Guerrero. Daniel and John David were students of Lilia Barbour’s third grade class at Epiphany School.
