Historic event held for Chamberlain Masonic Lodge members

Officers of the 120th Masonic district were installed on July 14 at the S.B. Mossier Masonic lodge in Alice by Orville L. O’Neill, Grand Master of Texas Masons.

The 2010-2011 Lodge officers are:

Master of Lodge - Bill Lemmons;

Senior Warden - Chris Davis;

Junior Warder - Steven Frye;

Treasurer - Chad Walker PM;

Secretary - Rod Grayson PM, PDDGM;

Chaplain - Ronald Williams PM;

Senior Deacon - Andrew Williamson;

Junior Deacon - Dale Atwell;

Senior Steward - Charles Lemmons;

Junior Steward - Jack Lutenbacher;

Marshall - George Meyers PM, PDDGM;

Master of Ceremonies - Jonathan Jones PM, PDDGM;

Tiler - Charles Shipley PM, PDDGM.

History was made when Bill Lemmons was installed as Master of Chamberlain Masonic Lodge on July 17, 2010, at his home near Loyola Beach.

According to the members this is a rare event and was performed only with the special permission of Orville L. O’Neill, Grand Master of Texas Masons.

Bill was installed by members of his lodge as well as visiting members from area lodges.

Chamberlain Masonic Lodge meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. with a dinner at 6:30 p.m.

The lodge also gathers for

fellowship and floor practice each Wednesday evening honored at ‘Tribute at 6 p.m. Anyone interested in learning more about Freemasonry is welcome to visit.

Their goal is to “Make Good Men Better.”
