Matthew Garcia Matthew “Matt Fat Shaq” Garcia, of Kingsville, 20, died on Aug. 8, 2010.

He was born Dec. 5, 1989, to Rudy R. Garcia and Irma Hernandez Garcia in Kingsville.

Survivors include his parents, Rudy and Irma Garcia; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Hernandez of Falfurrias; brothers, Rudy Garcia Jr, Rudy Garcia III, Jason Garcia and Jaime Garcia, all of Kingsville; sisters, Byanca Garcia (Joe Villarreal) of Kingsville and Monica (Augustine) Ramirez of McAllen.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 11 at the Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home with a prayer service to be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12 at the King’s Way Family Church.

Burial will follow at Los Caballos Cemetery in Falfurrias.
