Mundy - Kinnan marriage vows recited
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McLellan Mundy
The celebration and marriage of Caroline Carrier Kinnan and Joseph McLellan Mundy was May 22, 2010, at Epiphany Episcopal Church in Kingsville.
The Reverend Cristopher Robinson was the officiant. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mack Kinnan, Jr. of Kingsville.
She is the granddaughter of Mrs. John Nesbit Boehme and the late Mr. Boehme of San Antonio and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mack Kinnan of Austin.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Phillip Mundy. He is the grandson of Mrs Joseph Edward Brown and the late Mr. Brown of Prairie Village, Kansas and Colonel (Retired) Angus McLellan and the late Mrs. Mundy of Miami, Florida.
Caroline wore a strapless gown of blush, silk shantung designed by Romona Keveza of New York. It featured a drop waist fitted bodice with a full skirt, which fell into a chapel train.
She wore her Mother’s cathedral veil of tulle appliquéd with Alencon lace, beaded with pearls and her great aunt’s earrings.
She wore her aunt’s wedding shoes of silk peau de soie, which had been appliquéd with lace and hand beaded by her grandmother.
Miss Mary Margaret Kinnan served as her sister’s Maid of Honor and the groom’s brothers Nathaniel Angus Mundy and John Charles Mundy served as his best men.
The house party consisted of Whitney Calloway, Lindsey Hoffmeyer, Rachel DeShazo, Whitney Gallagher, Emily Gangwer, Josephine Kizer, Kelsey Kunz, Logan Lyerla, Shannon Manning, Lindsay Moore, Alason Vecchie, Kate Wilson and Elizabeth Wolcott.
The ushers included Chase Buford, Spencer Dean, Tanner King, Peter Krsnich, Jonathan Milkovich, Zachery Pederson, Christopher Sabetes, Nathan Solis, Lucas Trammell.
The acolytes were Connor DeLaney, Martin Clement III and Adam DeLaney.
Caroline is a graduate of Kaufman High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in applied behavioral science from The University of Kansas. She is selfemployed.
Joseph is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School and received a bachelor’s degree in History from The University of Kansas. He is employed with Chartais Insurance in Dallas.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Center.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a Kansas City barbecue at the Calera Camp on King Ranch.
After a honeymoon trip to Belize, the couple will reside in Dallas.
