50th wedding anniversary celebrated
Richard D. and Carolyn Collins Miller today Richard D. Miller and Carolyn Collins Miller celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Feb. 4 with an anniversary dinner held at King’s Inn given by their family.
The couple married on Feb. 4, 1962 in Conway, S.C.
Richard Miller is a retired veteran from the U.S Navy and Carolyn Miller is a retired certified medical assistant.
The couple have one daughter, Lynn Yandell, married to Kenneth Yandell. They also have one granddaughter,
Raina Groves, married to Edward Groves and one great-grandson, Easton Groves, and are expecting their first greatgranddaughter in March.
The family traveled extensively during Richard Miller’s military career, living along the eastern seaboard, as well as Morocco and Cuba.
The family relocated to Kingsville four years ago to be closer to relatives.
Richard and Carolyn Miller take great pleasure in bird watching and traveling.
