Jose G. Sanchez Jose G. Sanchez, 87, of Bishop, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 in Kingsville.

He was born Feb. 27, 1924 to Sabino and Emilia Sanchez in Bishop.

He was a retired carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Angelita R. Sanchez.

Survivors include three sons, Mario R. Sanchez of Bishop, Javier R. Sanchez of Agua Dulce and Jose Guadalupe Sanchez Jr. of Bishop; nine daughters, Terry Gamboa, Janie Alvarado, both of Bishop, Emily McGuire of Red Oak, Esmeralda Sanchez of Beeville, Angie Sanchez of Cedar Park, Olga Guajardo, Ninfa Martinez, Ruth Cruz and Gloria Champion, all of Corpus Christi; one brother, Ricardo Sanchez of San Antonio; two sisters, Paulina Perez of Bishop; Idolina Ambriz of Houston; 20 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren.

Visitation took place Feb. 2 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home in Kingsville.

A religious service was held Feb. 2 at Ramirez- Salinas Funeral Home.

A funeral service was celebrated Feb. 3 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

Burial followed at Evangelico Cemetery.
