Girl Scouts earn Silver Award


Leilani Adrian, Brianna Barrera, Veronica Garcia and Haley Wagner, members of Girl Scout Troop 9232, were recognized for earning the Silver Award at the annual Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas recognition banquet that was held March 31. The Girl Scout Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards represent the highest achievements in Girl Scouts, and are a commitment that girls make to themselves, to their communities, and to the world, organizers said. The girls also earned the Bronze Award and are currently working on earning the Gold Award.
