Armando Reyes Mendietta In loving memory of Armando Reyes Mendietta 74, a resident of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 6th, 2012. Armando was born on Jan. 6, 1938 in Kingsville to Seferino and Victoria Mendietta.

He was raised on the King Ranch and was active duty in the United States Marine Corps (1961-65) during the Vietnam conflict. He spent 17 years as a truck driver, like his father, from 1967 until 1980 and his last 10 years with Walmart. Armando also enjoyed baseball and watching football.

He is survived by his wife, Alicia Campos Mendietta of Oklahoma; one son, Armando Mendietta Jr. of Oklahoma, two daughters, Maria Del Rosario (Dale) Wills of Oklahoma and Jenny (Joshua) Williams; two brothers, Arnoldo (Leonor) Mendietta of Alice and and Alfredo (Hilda) Mendietta; two sisters, Arcelia Munoz and Alicia Castro both of Kingsville; five grandchildren, Josh Wills, Meagan Wills, Kayla Williams, Bryson Williams and Aiden Williams, all of Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 10 a.m. Garden Heights Freewill Baptist Church in Sand Springs, Okla. under the direction of
