Jenny (Pope) Webb Cornwell Jenny (Pope) Webb Cornwell, 62, of Portland, died April 6, 2012, at her home. Cornwell was born Dec. 23, 1949, in Mission, Texas to Delia (Longoria) and Joe L. Pope.

She attended King High School in Kingsville, and spent a considerable amount of time in her life living in both Kingsville and Austin.

She enjoyed collecting uncommon objects and had an amazing green thumb.

She had a tremendous love for her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her brother, Joe “Timmy” Pope of Austin; children, Paige Webb of Austin, Lesley Cornwell of Kingsville, Miles Webb and Lawrence “Lowe” Cornwell, both of Portland; two grandsons, Isaac Ramos of Kingsville, and Dylan Webb of San Antonio; niece Sarah Pope and nephew Stewart Pope, both of Austin, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joe L. Pope, and mother, Delia Pope.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. in Kingsville.
