Kleberg County

On Monday, two separate illegal immigration incidents in Kleberg and Kenedy County raised concerns among local law enforcement agencies that the border crisis is here and is getting worse locally by the day. One serious incident involved multiple law enforcement agencies being called as backup in Kenedy County, while the other occurred in Kingsville and involved Mexican illegals trying to escape out of a horse trailer near Highway 77 North and Caesar Street.

The most serious and troubling incident, however, occurred in Kenedy County. It involved Haitian immigrants rioting on a couple of buses that were contracted by the federal government to return the Haitians to the border to be repatriated.
