Brush Country CASA in need of volunteers

CASA Volunteers

Brush Country Court Appointed Special Advocates or CASA is a nonprofit organization that recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers who help guide children and their families as they journey through the Foster Care system. A shortage of volunteers has prompted the organization to find new ways to recruit and to generate interest in becoming part of CASA.

This past year, Brush Country CASA has had only one volunteer as opposed to 18 the previous year, CASA Outreach Director Nicole Ortegon said.
