KINGSVILLE — Dr. Jingbo Liu, a professor in the chemistry department at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, was recently given the Woman of the Year Award from the Texas Diversity Council. She received the award at the Central Texas Women in Leadership Symposium held at University of Texas at Austin School of Law.
“This award reflects team work and I am the lucky one to stand on their shoulders,” Liu said. “Any award is an effective catalyst that inspires me to work more diligently to serve my community at full capacity.
