Because of concerns with the novel coronavirus, Kleberg County Court at Law Judge Jaime Carrillo has announced that cases with court dates in the month of April have been suspended, and will be rescheduled for a later date.

Any person with a court case in County Court at Law in the month of April will receive a new court date by mail.

The only exceptions to the cancellations include jail dockets, juvenile detention hearings, mental health court hearings, temporary restraining orders, child protective services emergency removals and protective orders.

This is a developing story. Check back to for updates.
