The Kingsville ISD school board received a lot of good financial news at its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Monday night, but they also got quite a surprise: Hollywood came to Kingsville to congratulate the school district.
Thanks to efforts by students, teachers and staff at Harrel Elementary School, Barry Williams--the actor who portrayed Greg Brady on the classic TV sitcom The Brady Bunch--sent a video to the school praising the school, the administration and the school board for doing a wonderful job in taking care of the education of the students at Harrel. The video lasted less than a few minutes, but everyone who saw it was pleased with the effort and outreach by Harrel Elementary, and many administrators and board members smiled at the memory of watching The Brady Bunch.
