Jefferson to remain coach at H.M. King High School

The Kingsville Independent School District held a special meeting on Tuesday night, July 26, to hear and discuss two separate grievances against the district.

The first grievance was filed by Tessa De La Rosa and her family alleging that H.M. King High School football coach James Jefferson had physically injured her son in an altercation at the school in April. They asked for him to be terminated. They also requested the KISD reimburse the family for an ambulance charge the family claimed was due to an injury received by their son during the April incident.
