The KISD Foundation held its inaugural State of the District luncheon on Tuesday with about 300 people attending. Dr. Cissy Reynolds-Perez, the Kingsville Independent School District superintendent, spoke enthusiastically about the district’s transformation focusing on present accomplishments and future goals at the KISD Education Foundation State of the District event.      

Dr. Reynolds-Perez welcomed and thanked the audience of about 300 people that included many elected officials, fellow superintendents, education supporters, business owners, parents, students, staff, community supporters, and others who were present at the inaugural State of the District luncheon held Monday at Dome B at HMK High School. One KISD supporter and dignitary, District 43 state representative J.M. Lozano, was the keynote speaker following Dr. Reynolds-Perez’s presentation.
