Students of the Kingsville Independent School District participating in this year’s summer programs will benefit from free breakfast and lunch from June 8 through July 8. The Kingsville community is invited to have lunch at our three summer school locations:

• Memorial Middle School;

• J.S. Gillett Intermediate and;

• H.M. King High School

Breakfast and lunch are free to all children 18 and under and adult plates are $3.50.

In order to protect the health and well-being of the students and staff, the KISD will continue to follow the non-congregate feeding model, meaning daily curbside pickup for both meals. Curbside service will be offered Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Both breakfast and lunch will be offered at the same time.

The Douglass Community Center will serve as a meal distribution site as well, for those residents who choose to participate in curbside service. The serving times will be the same as all other designated sites.

The Summer Meals for Kids Nutrition Program is funded by USDA and program sponsors of TDA for children 18 and younger. More information about the Summer Meals for Kids program can be found at, or by calling 211.

If you have any questions, contact the KISD Food Service Department at (361) 592-3387, ext. 8102
