Honorary World Champ Lil' Oscar

Kingsville native and local boxing champion Oscar “Lil’ Oscar” Cantu announced he is hanging up his gloves and calling it a career after 23 years.

At a press conference that took place at Bray’s Smokehouse in Kingsville on Monday, Cantu took the podium and announced he is retiring from the sport of boxing due to a brain aneurysm.
