El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant owners Alejandro and Lupita Zaragoza said their mission is to make people feel at home and serve good food. Customers would agree because their staff makes customers feel like family.

El Tapatio is not only a restaurant, but a place to gather and visit with friends. Customers praise the owners, service, and home-cooked meals. The welcoming ambience of the restaurant reflects the Mexican culture with the décor, artwork and custom-painted furniture. The customers are community people, Texas A&M University-Kingsville staff, students and out-of-town visitors.
