Things got downright dirty at Dick Kleberg Park last week as dozens of children participated in the second annual junior mud run obstacle course as part of the Kingsville/Kleberg-Kenedy County Challenge Yourself summer youth camp.

The mud run featured multiple mud stations designed to entertain and challenge campers as they made their way through the course.

Summer camp activities, which take place Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m.-1 p.m, will continue on July 9 and conclude on July 25. The fee per child is $10 per day and includes lunch and a morning snack.

Each day is limited to 50 campers, and pre-registration is recommended. Children must be between 6-12 years of age to participate.
