UT Austin and TAMUK professors bring Developmental Biology to South Texas

The goal was to provide a Developmental Biology course for TAMUK students to give them a more in-depth understanding of developmental biology firsthand.

This course allowed the students to see a different perspective as a career as a developmental biologist.  Students gained a hands-on perspective by spending four days shoulder-to-shoulder with the following individuals:  Dr. John Wallingford, Dr. Shinuo Weng and PhD students, Cristina Raya and Neftalí Vazquez.  This allowed students to see a different perspective within a career as a developmental biologist.
