Amparo R. Quintanilla

Amparo R. Quintanilla passed away on Sept. 22, 2020 in Kingsville. She was born on Jan. 3, 1936 in Kingsville to Cecilio Lazo and Zoila Ruiz.

She is joined in death by her husband, Benjamin G. Quintanilla. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecilio Lazo and Zoila Ruiz; and son, David Quintanilla.

Amparo is survived by her children, Norma Q. Munoz, Noe Quintanilla, Eloy Quintanilla, Benjamin Quintanilla Jr.; sister, Juanita Lara; brother, Cecilio Ruz Jr.; sister, Elena Ruiz; brother, Leonardo Ruiz, 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A drive thru visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 25, 2020 from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., with a private Rosary to be recited via livestream at 7 p.m. A private funeral Mass will be held via livestream at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas 78363.
