Barbara Goetsch

Barbara Goetsch was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on Sept. 7, 2021 at age 81.

She graduated from Calallen High School and married her husband, Wesley. They started Goetsch Music Company together in Kingsville, TX, where they sold pianos, guitars, band instruments, and all sorts of musical items.

Their store served all the surrounding communities, and schools of Kingsville and the south Texas area.

Barbara tuned pianos and played every Sunday at the Naval Base Chapel in Kingsville. She also taught piano lessons to many students of all ages in the Kingsville area.

Barbara and her husband Wesley were married 59 years until his passing in 2017. Her oldest son Charlie passed away in 2012.

She is survived by her youngest son, Bobby, his wife, Eve; Charlie’s wife, Mary; and her two grandsons, Ethan and Benjamin.

A private service was held on Sept. 18 at Chamberlin Cemetery.

She was buried next to her husband and her son, Charlie.

I was blessed to work and assist both Mr and Mrs Goetsch at home assisting with their home health care over the years. I thoroughly enjoyed our visits and conversations and will always have a place in my heart for them. My prayers for comfort and peace are with the family. -
