Guadalupe D. “Chino” Villarreal Sr.

Guadalupe D. “Chino” Villarreal Sr., 78, of Kingsville, died Oct. 27, 2019 in Kingsville.

He was born on June 16, 1941 in Alice to Fermin and Tomasa Villarreal. 

He was employed with Arthur Brothers as a carpenter supervisor. 

He was preceded in death one son, Rene Villarreal; two brothers, Israel Villarreal and Amador Villarreal; and one sister, Theresa Cruz. 

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Maria Elena Villarreal of Kingsville; two sons, Guadalupe (Erika) Villarreal Jr. of Bishop and Richard Villarreal of Kingsville; two brothers, Juan (Juanita) Villarreal and Humberto (Emma) Villarreal; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Rosary were held on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass was held on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with Father Paulson officiating. 

Burial followed at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
