Jacinto Jimenez, 77, died on Aug. 1, 2019 in Kingsville. He was born on Nov. 8, 1941 in San Diego, Texas to Pedro and Rosa Jimenez.

He was preceded in death by both his parents; son, Jacinto Jimenez Jr.; brothers, Luis Longoria and Pete Jimenez; and sisters, Evangelina Hinojosa and Viola Couling.

Jacinto is survived by his wife, Eva Jimenez; children, Javier Jimenez, Julian Jimenez (Belinda), Arnoldo Jimenez (Crystal), Jovita Lopez (Juan), Mary Alice Jimenez, and Marivel Valdez (Jesse); brothers and sisters, Anselma Almarez (Norberto), Jesus Longoria (Minnie), Adan Longoria (Sylvia), Alberto Jimenez, Lupe Jimenez, Bocho Jimenez, Angelita Sendejo (Mayo); 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation and Rosary were held on Monday, Aug. 5, 2019 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral mass was held on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Riviera. Interment followed at Riviera Cemetery.
