Javier Benitez, 49, a resident of Kingsville, passed away on Feb. 7, 2021 in Corpus Christi.
He was born on Feb. 1, 1972 in Kingsville, to Presciliano and Consuelo Benitez Sr.
He was a retired craftsman and was formerly employed with Kingsville Truss Manufacturing Inc.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Presciliano and Consuelo Benitez, Sr.; and one nephew, Hector Gilberto Garcia III.
Survivors include two brothers, Presciliano Benitez Jr. of Kingsville, and Abelardo (Belinda) Benitez of Kingsville; two sisters, Ginny Benitez (Hector) Garcia of Kingsville and Liza Benitez (Angel) Martinez of Calallen; four nieces, Sabrina, Daniella, Jessica and Sofia; four nephews, Johnnie, Nathaniel, Matthew and Elijah; and numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A religious service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2021 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery.
