Jose Omar  Reyes

Jose Omer Reyes, 81, of Kingsville, TX passed away March 30, 2021 in Kingsville, TX surrounded by his loving wife and family.

He was born on Oct. 30, 1939 to Perfecto and Paula Reyes.

Mr. Reyes was a retired foreman for Arthur Brothers/Mundy Corporation and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He was a spiritual loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.

He was preceded in death by one son, Jose Omer Reyes Jr.; and two grandchildren, Lori Jean Alarcon-Brummett, and Jim Omar Alarcon.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Delia R. Reyes of Kingsville; three daughters, Bonnie Reyes (John W. Burke †) of Chandler, Arizona, Jeannie (Amando) De La Rosa of Ricardo, and JoAnna (Fernando) Cobos of Driscoll; two sisters, Maria Olga Fuentes of San Antonio, and Nori Melve of Corpus Christi; eight grandchildren, Justin Aaron, Amando Jose Jr., Jacob Austin, Antonio Javier, Jeannie Marie, Aaron, Krystal, and Matthew; and one great-granddaugther, Makayla.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 11 a.m.

A Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with Father Paulson officiating.

Burial followed at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.

Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
