Joseph Edward Dellanno

Joseph Edward Dellanno, age 77, passed away on May 19, 2020 with his family at his side. Joe was born on September 11, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York. He is preceded in death by both parents Joseph Dellanno and Frances Polito Dellanno-Donohue. Joe retired as an auto mechanic teacher from Bishop Consolidated Independent School District after 20 years, and later worked at the Country Club Towne Homes. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Corpus Christi and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Joe is survived by his wife of 20 years, Ofelia Dellanno; brother, Richard Dellanno; sister, Marie Dellanno-Saulsbury of California; son, Joseph Dellanno of Florida; daughter, Teriann Dellanno of Seattle, Washington; granddaughter, Darian Dellanno; great-grandson, Logan Dellanno-Doerflinger; three step sons, Joseph Trevino, David Trevino, and Ray Trevino; grandchildren, Gabriel Trevino, Joseph Trevino Jr., Vanessa Trevino, Aaron Trevino, Nora Trevino, Wyatt Trevino, Savannah Trevino, Sarah Trevino; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2020 at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.
