Juan Veloz

Juan Veloz went to be with the Lord on March 17, 2020. He was born to Ignacio and Eusibia Gonzales Veloz of dallas. 

He was proceeded in death by his father, Virginia Boyd and David Veloz.

He was survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Rose Ann Veloz of Corpus Christi; son, John Albert Veloz; daughter, Nichole Marie Veloz of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, John, Marilyn, Marina Veloz of Ohio, Riana O. Peña, Sophia Cano, Siarra and Kason Velos of Corpus Christi; great grandchildren, John David Veloz and Myles A. Cherrignton of Ohio; five sisters, Anita Deleon, Mary Zaragoza, Gloria Longoria, Dolores Veloz and Lydia Veloz of Dallas; and three brothers, Ignacio, Jesse Veloz of Dallas and Robert Veloz of Florida.

He was born and raised in Dallas. He was a U.S. Marine Coprs veteran and served his country in Vietnam. He retired from Celanese in 2007 after 25 years, resided in Kingsville for 34 years, then spent 10 years in Ohio before moving back to Texas in March of last year. 

The family wishes to thank Christus Spohn Shoreline, Del Cielo Home Care, and Hospice, Fresenius Dialysis Center, Advance Ambulance Services for their care and support. Special thanks to the VA in Chillicothe, Ohio and Corpus Christi for meeting his needs. 

Per Juan’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Christus Spohn Foundation, 600 Elizabeth St. Corpus Christi, Texas.
