Maria C. “Tina” Lopez Galvan

Maria C. “Tina” Lopez Galvan, 63, of Kingsville died June 8, 2019 in Corpus Christi.   

She was born on Dec. 24, 1955 in Kingsville to Manuel and Felicitas Lopez.

She was a retired sanitation supervisor for the City of Kingsville, and was employed by Kleberg County as a bus driver.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rigoberto Galvan; and one sister Guadalupe De Leon.

Survivors include two daughters, Ashley (Luis) Moreno of Kingsville and Christy Salinas of Corpus Christi; three sons, Juan Manuel Galvan of Kingsville and Jose Angel Gonzales and Rolando Salinas, both of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Jose (Verna) Lopez Jr. of Santa Maria, Calif., and Ray (Maria) Burel of Kingsville; two sisters, Margie Lopez of Santa Maria, Calif., and Joyce Castillo of San Antonio; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation and Rosary were held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at Kingsville Resthaven Cemetery.
