Maria C. Treviño-Ramirez

KINGSVILLE/ZAPATA, TEXAS — Maria C. Treviño-Ramirez died Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Kingsville. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Filiberto and Luisa Treviño; husband Jose Hector Ramirez; son, Homero Ramirez; daughter, Rosa Valerio-Lopez; one sister, Adelina (Jose Refugio) Ramirez; and six brothers, Teodoro (Petrita) Treviño, Anselmo (Consuelo) Treviño, Antonio (Evangelina) Treviño, Filiberto  (Raquel) Treviño Jr.,  Leopoldo Treviño and Jose Manuel (Emilia) Treviño.   

She is survived by one sister, Luisa (Amador) Lopez, and one sister in law, Emma Treviño; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and other family members.

Visitation hours were held on Monday, Jan. 20, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession departed on Jan. 20 at 10:30 a.m. for an 11 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. 

Committal services followed in Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home in Zapata.
