Ninfa Lerma Soliz, 87, of Kingsville, TX passed away May 16, 2020 in Corpus Christi, TX.
She was born on September 1, 1932 in Benavides TX to Baltazar and Ernestina Lerma.
She was a retired cafeteria worker with Ricardo Independent School District and formerly employed with Kingsville Independent School District.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Adalberto Lerma.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ramon R. Soliz of Kingsville, TX; one son, Ben (Carola) Serrato of Kingsville, TX; four daughters, Lydia Serrato Krueger (Kenneth) of Banquete, TX, Dalia Serrato Torres of Corpus Christi, TX, Imelda Serrato Ramirez (Raul) of Corpus Christi, TX, Angela L. Soliz of Corpus Christi, TX; two sisters, Irma Lichtenberger of San Diego, TX, and Yolanda Garcia of Missouri City, TX; four grandchildren, Diego Serrato, Joel Serrato, Amador “Mandy” Gonzalez (Leti), and Tessy (Andrea) Gonzalez; five great grandchildren, Jacob, Nazario, Brittany, Gabi, and Ava Gonzalez; and several nieces and nephews. With gratitude to Drs. Amanda & Robert Caro, Nurse Practioner Bea Cazares, and everyone at Serenity Grace Hospice for the love and care of our mom. Visitation was held on Friday, 05-22-2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Memorial Rosary will be held on Friday, 05-22-2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
