Rachel M. Galindo

Rachel Moreno Galindo, 65, of Kingsville died Jan. 5, 2020 in Kingsville. 

She was born in Kingsville to Antonio and Helena Moreno on Oct. 25, 1954. She worked as a health provider for 10 years and also worked with children at daycare. She was a member of Templo Betel Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Henry; son, Christopher Cuellar; brothers, Antonio Moreno Jr. (Grace), Mario Moreno, Rogelio Moreno and Leonel Moreno (Belma); sisters, Nelda R. Perez (Juan), Irene Palacios (Andres) and Odilia Garza (Alberto); step-children Maurice Galindo (Shannon), Christina Hagerty (Steven), Terry Alstatt, Jennifer Galindo (Dawn), Elizabeth Galindo Villarreal (Kenneth), Jonathon Galindo and Josie Galindo; nine grand-children; three great grand-children; and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation was held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Temple Bethel Assemblies, with a prayer service that same evening. Funeral Mass was held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020 at 1 p.m. 

Burial followed in Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery in Kingsville.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville.
