Ruben  Loera Jr.

Ruben Loera Jr., 66, of Kingsville passed away Mar. 25, 2021 in Kingsville.

He was born on August 20, 1954 in Kingsville to Ruben and Estella Loera Sr.

He was retired from Kleberg County Human Services Department. In his leisure time, he was always outside landscaping and listening to his favorite Tejano music. 

He was preceded in death by one brother, Roel Ricardo Loera.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 47 years, Maria Rosario Loera of Kingsville; three daughters, Amy L. (Rene) Cruz of Kingsville, Erica Marie Loera of Kingsville, and Celeste Gabriela Loera of San Antonio; one son, Ruben (Leticia) Loera of Kingsville; two sisters, Janie L. (Rey) Munoz and Estella (Robert) Perez-Hinojosa; one brother, Rene (Rosalinda)_Loera; seven grandchildren, Crystal Olivia, Haley Renee, Ruben Roel, Ryan Jacob, Alyssa Rene, Alinna Eva, and Enzly Mariella; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Visitation was held on Tues., March 30, 2021 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m.

 A Funeral Mass was  held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Naul Ordonez officiating.

Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.

Arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
